Tinnitus

Expert solutions for bothersome ringing in the ears.

What is Tinnitus?

Ringing in the ears, medically known as tinnitus, is a common phenomenon affecting millions of people. Tinnitus is when you hear a buzzing, humming, ringing, whistling, or other sound in your ears when no external sounds are present. These sounds can be soft or loud, low or high pitched, and can occur occasionally or be constant.

Tinnitus is a benign condition and is not harmful nor life threatening. However, if your tinnitus is bothersome, it can affect your concentration, sleep, and overall quality of life. At Kendall Audiology, we want to help you manage tinnitus, so you can get back to enjoying your life.

Lenire Tinnitus Treatment

Kendall Audiology is one of few providers in the U.S. who can offer Lenire Technology, a groundbreaking tinnitus treatment. Lenire is the first and only dual mode technology for the treatment of tinnitus granted U.S. FDA approval.

Using bimodal stimulation, Lenire combines soundscapes through wireless headphones and tongue pulses customized to your hearing profile to help your brain stop focusing on tinnitus. This allows the positive impact to compound over multiple sessions. With just two relaxing 30-minute sessions per day, Lenire can decrease your perception of tinnitus over time.
